Tony has Super League experience with Hull FC

Championship strugglers Whitehaven have made the double signing of former New Zealand international Motu Tony and St Helens prop Paul Johnston.

Tony, 28, has Super League experience with Hull FC and has signed a deal that will keep him at the Recreation Ground for the rest of the season.

Johnston, 22, is a dual registration player but is yet to make his top flight debut for Mick Potter's side.

Both are available for Sunday's trip to Batley Bulldogs in the Championship.
