Barrow retained Championship top spot in emphatic fashion, beating Featherstone 46-28 in a thriller at Rovers on Sunday. Wing James Nixon grabbed a brace for the Raiders, while scrum-half Jamie Rooney added a try and nine conversions against the club where he started out. Full-back Ian Hardman ran in two of Rovers' six tries, but Kyle Briggs was unable to convert all but two. Raiders are now three points clear of Widnes with 42 points from 18 games.
