Cullen has high hopes of collecting silverware against Barrow
Widnes coach Paul Cullen was pleased with his side's 78-4 victory over Doncaster on Saturday as they prepare for the Northern Rail Cup final.
Widnes face Barrow on Sunday and Cullen feels the comprehensive victory over Doncaster shows how well they can play.
Cullen told BBC Radio Merseyside: "We played some good football today and it was too much for Doncaster.
"But you've got to give them credit as that was a decent Widnes team they were facing today."
Cullen confirmed the preparation of the side will be the same ahead of the showpiece event against Barrow, as he hopes the current training schedule will continue to bring victories.
"We're quite settled in our new routine - training at night time," Cullen continued. "That's what Barrow will be doing - those guys will be working hard during the day and training at night time.
"We respect that because we're going to be doing exactly the same. We're good to go and I'm quite happy that there is a seven-day cycle.
"But this week is about us and what we want to do and how we want to play the game at Blackpool."
Widnes face Barrow in the Northern Rail Cup final on Sunday 12 July at Bloomfield Road, Blackpool and kick off is at 1715 BST.
