Nixon was on target for Barrow as they return to the top of the Championship

Barrow Raiders stormed back to the top of the Championship with an impressive 30-22 defeat of in-form French side Toulouse on Thursday.

In front of the television cameras Toulouse made a bright start, leading 12-6 before Chris Young's try brought scores level at the break.

But in the second period Raiders took control, scoring three tries.

Winger James Nixon grabbed his second, adding to scores from scrum-half Andy Ellis and full-back Liam Harrison.
