Luisi notched the fourth Barrow try

Barrow Raiders were leapfrogged by title rivals Halifax at the top of the Championship after a 30-24 defeat at the Shay on Sunday.

Fax led by three converted tries to just one at the break, but a valiant response in the second half brought the scores within six points at the end.

Hooker Andy Ellis grabbed his hat-trick for the Raiders, while full-back Zeb Luisi also notched a try.

Darren Holt continued his good form with the boot, kicking three goals.
