Andreas Bauer made 13 appearances in his time at Hull KR

Barrow Raiders have offered a deal to former Hull KR utility back Andreas Bauer following his release by Championship rivals Doncaster.

The 26-year-old was allowed to quit the Dons for financial reasons following Saturday's defeat by Whitehaven.

Former Samoan international Bauer will train with the squad on Wednesday ahead of Sunday's Northern Rail Cup tie against Dewsbury.

He can play in a number of positions, including full-back, centre and hooker.
