Hull KR sign New Zealander Bauer

Super League newcomers Hull KR have signed little-known New Zealander Andreas Bauer on a one-year deal.

The 23-year-old utility back is a British passport holder and exempt from the overseas quota.

He was a member of the development squad at New Zealand Warriors and played for Mount Albert Lions in the Bartercard Cup.

"I've seen videos of Andreas and there's definitely something to work with," said Rovers coach Justin Morgan.
