Barrow Raiders climbed to the Championship summit with Saturday's 26-18 win over Sheffield Eagles at Craven Park.

Raiders had to come back from 12-10 down at the break to record their eighth victory of the season.

Three-quarter Chris Larkin notched two tries, while Darren Holt, Chris Young and James Nixon also crossed the line.

Halifax can overhaul Barrow at the top if they beat the Raiders when the two sides meet on 14 June.

Next up for Barrow is the visit of Dewsbury Rams in this Saturday's Northern Rail Cup quarter-final (6 June, 1830 BST).
