 Flanagan's ban starts from 6 April |
Former Batley Bulldogs hooker George Flanagan has been banned for two years after being found guilty of breaching the RFL's anti-doping regulations. Flanagan was found to have provided a sample containing Benzoylecgonine, a metabolite of cocaine, after a match against Featherstone in 15 March. The former Bradford Bulls junior has not played since being sacked by Batley six weeks ago. Flanagan's suspension starts retrospectively from 6 April 2009.
