Jersey's bobsleigh team have put in a strong showing at the Army Novice and Junior Championships in Igls, Austria. In the men's novice class, Jersey's crew of Paul Murray and Brian Walshe managed to finish second overall. Joanna Matthews, Jersey's sole representative in the skeleton bob, came second in the women's race and ninth out of 15 overall. Jersey's two female bobsleigh teams finished ninth and 10th in the overall Army Championships.
