After losing their opening game of the ICC Division Five tournament against Nepal, Jersey bounced back with a win against Fiji on Sunday. Fiji batted first, racking up 122 all out from 36.2 overs as Ryan Driver, Matt Hague and Ben Stevens each claimed two wickets. In reply Dean Morrison and Matt Hague enjoyed an opening stand of 108 as Jersey passed the target in 20.3 overs. Jersey will now play USA on Tuesday in their third game of the tournament. Hague, who finished on 52 not out for Jersey, said: "It was an important game for us to win. "The first thing we have to do is get a couple of wins under our belt and ensure we do stay in Division Five. "The game against the USA should be a good match, as they are pretty strong, but our win today will give us a lot of confidence." The USA and Nepal are currently leading the Division Five championship table after winning both of their opening matches, whilst Jersey are in fourth.
