Guernsey Rifle Club shooter Sylvia Sirett held off strong competition to win the 2010 Mauxmarquis Trophy.

Sirrett picked up 74.09 points out of a maximum 75.15, including five consecutive central 'V' Bulls, on the 500-yard range at Fort Le Marchant.

Second-place went to Philip Ogier who finished with a score of 74.07, while club captain Peter Jory was third, scoring 73.09.

The 'B' class was won by Cherry Le Poidevin, who scored 73.04.
