Their third loss in five days came at struggling Newcastle on Sunday, as they lost 6-5 in regulation time, after holding a 4-1 lead. The statement continued: "Losses can be tolerated but not the manner of the last three defeats which have come after the team had, in some cases, what should have been commanding leads. "To underline the players' responsibilities to the club and more importantly its fans, 20% of last week's wages will now be handed over to the Nottingham Teenage Cancer Trust. "There is another big game on the schedule [against Coventry on Tuesday] and two more at the weekend, giving the players a quick-fire chance to show their true merit. "The spotlight is very much on these upcoming games and coach Corey Neilson has reiterated his apology to the fans for recent results and, as he puts it, not getting the best out of the players."
