Doug Christiansen saw his Giants side lose on Sunday

The Belfast Giants suffered a 3-2 over-time defeat in Hull as the Stingrays came back from two goals down to win.

Josh Prudden put the Giants ahead and the Elite League leaders doubled their lead with Mike Bayrack's goal midway through the second period.

Jereme Tendler made it 2-1 before Sylvain Coulter equalised for Hull with just 24 seconds remaining.

Jason Silverthorn clinched victory for the the Stingrays with the winner in the fifth minute of overtime.

The defeat on Sunday evening followed a 5-3 win over Braehead Clan 24 hours earlier.
