Doug Christiansen saw his Giants side win at Braehead Clan

Craig Peacock and Dan Welch both scored twice as the Belfast Giants beat Braehead Clan 5-3 in Saturday night's Elite League clash.

Bruce Richardson scored for Braehead in the first period but Welch netted once and Peacock twice in the second period to put the visitors in control.

Brendan Cook and Jon Landry were the Braehead scorers in the third period.

Brad Smyth and Welch were on-target for league leaders Belfast in the third period as the Giants secured victory.

The Giants are at home to Hull Stingrays on Sunday night (1800 GMT).
