Belfast Giants suffered a rare defeat as they lost out to the Blaze in Sunday's Elite League clash.

Brad Cruiskshank put Coventry ahead in the 22nd minute and the hosts doubled their lead when Brian Lee scored on a powerplay on 44 minutes.

The Odyssey side remain top of the table but their lead has been reduced to five points after title rivals Nottingham defeated Dundee 5-4.

Belfast secured a 5-3 away win against Hull Stingrays on Saturday night.
