Brad Smyth scored the fifth of Belfast's goals against Dundee

The Belfast Giants secured a 5-3 victory over Dundee Stars in Sunday's Elite League clash between the sides.

In the first period, Dan Welch scored for the Giants but Chris Zarb replied for the Scottish hosts.

Dan Ceman and Brent Hughes were the Dundee scorers in the second period, with Josh Prudden scoring for Belfast.

Goals by Mike Bayrack, Colin Shields and Brad Smyth ensured success for the Giants who consolidate their position at the top of the table.
