Brett Hemingway is congratulated by Mike Bayrack after his first goal

Former NHL star Brad Smyth scored on his Belfast Giants debut in Saturday night's 5-2 comeback victory over Cardiff Devils at the Odyssey Arena.

Kenton Smith put the Devils ahead and Brett Hemingway levelled before Mark Richardson restored Cardiff's lead.

Josh Prudden equalised just 33 seconds later and Brett Hemingway struck with eight minutes left to make it 3-2 to the Elite League leaders.

Late goals from new signing Smyth and Colin Hemingway sealed the victory.
