Canadian winger Mike Prpich is set to make his Newcastle Vipers debut against Hull Stingrays on Saturday. The 28-year-old was expected to have made his debut against Edinburgh last week but problems with a new passport delayed his arrival. Vipers' coach Danny Stewart said: "We're delighted this saga is finally over and Mike is on his way. "There's no doubt he will improve our team and add some grit and scoring punch up front." Prpich, who played for Austrian club Medvescak Zagreb last season, will train with the team ahead of the Drive for Five promotion weekend, which sees Vipers face Hull on Saturday and Nottingham on Sunday.
