Swindon Wildcats have been forced to move their fixture against Guildford Flames from Saturday to Friday night due to the closure of their home venue. The Wildcats play at the Link Centre which is run by Swindon Borough Council where staff are planning a walk out. "It could affect us financially as people won't now be able to turn up," said Wildcats manager Steve Nell. "If we hadn't been able to move it to Friday it would have been postponed which would have been a disaster." The Wildcat's match against last year's play-off finalists on Friday 24 September starts at 1945 BST.
