Swindon Wildcats have signed defenceman Nick Compton ahead of the new English Premier Ice Hockey League campaign.

The 22-year-old returns to Swindon where he was part of the junior set-up.

Compton has since played for Nashville, Omaha, San Antonio and college side Johnson and Wales University in the United States.

"Nick is a great addition," said head coach Ryan Aldridge. "He is solid in his own end and can make the first pass. He is just what we needed."
