Belfast Giants coach Doug Christiansen saw his team win in Coventry

Belfast Giants secured a weekend double over Coventry Blaze after a 3-2 win at the SkyDome Arena on Sunday night.

Josh Prudden put the visitors ahead and Dan Welch doubled the lead four minutes from the end of the first period.

Coventry hit back in the second period with goals from from Russ Cowley and Owen Fussey.

Brandon Benedict netted the winner in the 53rd minute to claim the points and follow up Saturday's 4-2 success over the champions at the Odyssey.
