Mike Hoffman in action with the Drummondville Voltigeurs |
The Belfast Giants have completed their roster for the 2010-11 season by signing Canadian Mike Bayrack and American Mike Hoffman. Bayrack from Edmonton was most recently with the Florida Everblades in the ECHL and has scored 581 points in 670 games during his 11-year professional career. Hoffman was with Hartford Wolf Pack and has seven years' experience in the AHL. He got his first pro contract with the Toronto Maple Leafs but did not play in the National Hockey League. Giants general manager Todd Kelman said Bayrack would bring depth to the Giants forward line. "He is a veteran of the ECHL and AHL and a proven scorer, with an impressive work ethic, who will compete hard in every game. "In Mike Hoffman we have found the enforcer we need to protect our team and he adds strength to our roster. "I am really excited with our team for this year."
