Captain Rob Lamey stays with Guildford Flames

Lamey played for Team GB at the 1999 & 2000 World Junior Championships

Guildford Flames have retained their captain Rob Lamey for the 2010-2011 English Premier League season.

The 29-year-old forward has played over 500 games for the Flames in two spells.

Head coach Paul Dixon said: "Rob is a reliable goal scorer who is also mature and responsible enough to play in a diverse range of situations.

"He has flourished while continually under greater weight of responsibility with the club. We're glad to have him back on the team."
