Lee started his career with Sunderland Chiefs |
Guildford Flames have agreed a deal for netminder Mark Lee to remain at the club for a second year. The 22-year-old had an injury-hit league season but helped the Flames to victory in the Premier Cup. Flames Head Coach Paul Dixon said: "When Mark was healthy he had a great season. He brought us as close to a double winning campaign. "He showed that he is in the top handful of the new generation of domestically-trained netminders." He added: "He is now well into a rehabilitation programme that we hope will have him ready to go by September." Lee will compete with Slovakian Miroslav Hala for the Flames' goaltending slot.
