London-born Yussuff was a youth player with Charlton

AFC Wimbledon have signed midfielder Rashid Yussuff, following his release from Gillingham.

The 20-year-old joined the Priestfield club last summer but made just eight starts for the newly relegated side.

Dons boss Terry Brown told the club website: "He is a significant signing who is great on the ball.

"Rashid will add much-needed pace to last year's squad and we will be looking for him to contribute on the scoresheet as well."

Brown continued: "He trained with the squad on our first day's training today and along with the rest of the lads, trained very well and looked very fit."
