Guildford Flames have announced Czech forward Martin Masa will stay with the club for the 2010-2011 season.

The 36-year-old scored 48 goals and 87 points in 61 games last season, leading the team in both categories.

Flames head coach Paul Dixon said: "Pure goalscorers are a rare breed, and not particularly easy to find.

"He is a team player and an all around great character so we are pleased to have him back and are looking forward to his continuing success next season."

He added: "He has a way of being open just at the right time and he scored some very big goals for us this past season and he was a big part of the Premier Cup win."

Last week the Flames released fellow Czech forward Vinny Zavoral following five seasons with the club.
