Guildford Flames sign Adrian Saul to ease injury crisis
Guildford Flames have brought in Canadian forward Adrian Saul to help with their injury crisis.
Saul, 33, who is available after his Italian club ran into financial problems, scored 57 goals for Edinburgh Capitals between 2002-2004.
Flames coach Paul Dixon told BBC Surrey: "Everywhere Adrian has played he's put good numbers up and he's a guy we have looked at before.
"We have half a dozen players out. I've not known a situation quite like this."
Dixon added: "His club in Italy ran into money difficulties and had to release some players.
"It's a good time to bring him in. He's looking forward to the challenge and has heard lots of good things about Guildford, and we're just happy to have a calibre player of that stature come to our club."
