The Invicta Dynamos have signed American forward Nolan Boike for the rest of the season. The 25-year-old will fill the void left by Sweden's Johan Stenvall. "I have never been to the UK and I am thrilled that my first time there will see me playing hockey for a great organisation like Invicta," said Boike. "I am looking forward to joining my new team mates and helping them continue to stay at the top of the standings in any way I can." Last season Boike tried his hand in Europe and spent time in France icing for ASG Tours. He is a keen athlete, who was also an eager baseball player in his time at the University of Maine. Boike is expected to make his debut for Dynamos this weekend against the Milton Keynes Thunder, subject to his registration being completed by the EIHA. Stenvall signed for the Dynamos in the off-season. He played 10 games for the Dynamos and in that time netted six goals. But he decided to leave after recently struggling both on and off the ice. The Dynamos are currently one point clear at the top of the ENIHL South, as they look to win their seventh consecutive league title.
