Miller will look to re-ignite his season at Dagenham and Redbridge
Gillingham midfielder Adam Miller is not expected to leave the club on a permanent basis, even though he has gone to Dagenham and Redbridge on loan.
The 27-year-old has moved to the League Two side on a month's deal.
But manager Mark Stimson told BBC Radio Kent: "Nothing's been mentioned of a permanent deal.
"It's just to get him fit and he's gone out with those intentions. At the end of the month we'll assess it, be honest with each other and see where we go."
Stimson added: "He needs to play regularly to get the best out of him. He hasn't played of late here, he's just dropped off the pace a little bit.
"But he's not just someone who wants to sit here and watch and take his money. He wants to play football and he's shown that."
Miller has made 70 appearances for the club and played an important role in helping them secure promotion to League One last season, scoring six goals.
He was Mark Stimson's first signing in November 2007 from Stevenage.
