The Belfast Giants beat Cardiff Devils 4-1 in the second leg of their British Knockout Cup semi-final to reach the final with a 7-4 aggregate victory. Mike Prpich gave Cardiff an early lead but Colin Shields replied with two goals for the Giants and then Mike Burgoyne netted to make the score 3-1. Paul Deniset scored in the dying moments of the game to secure victory. Belfast play Manchester Phoenix in the first leg of the Challenge Cup final in England on Sunday night (1730 GMT). The second leg will be staged at Dundonald Ice Bowl on St Patrick's night, 17 March.
