Bobby Robins was on target for the Giants against Cardiff

The Belfast Giants drew 3-3 with Cardiff Devils in their British Knockout Cup semi-final first leg at Dundonald Ice Bowl on Wednesday night.

Matt Elich put the Devils ahead but two strikes by Matt Burgoyne edged the Giants ahead by the end of the second period.

Elich was on target again to level but Bobby Robins fired Belfast in front again before Tyson Tepiltsky equalised.

The second leg will be played at Cardiff on Saturday night.
