Action from Tuesday night's match at the Odyssey Arena

The Belfast Giants moved up to second place in the Elite League with a 2-1 win over Manchester Phoenix at the Odyssey Arena on Tuesday evening.

Andrew Martin scored the Giants' first goal in the first period but David Beauregard levelled for the visitors in the second period.

Martin netted the winning strike for Steve Thornton's side in the third and final period of the match.

Belfast's next match is away to Newcastle Vipers on Sunday evening.
