Sheffield Steelers head coach Dave Matsos has said winger Warren Tait could return next season despite the club agreeing terms with Robert Dowd. Dowd, who is also a winger, has signed a one-year deal and his arrival would mean a different role for Tait. Matsos told BBC Radio Sheffield:
"We're trying to juggle our finances and if Warren wants to come back as a centre forward then he's welcome. "It's not out of the question that he'll be back with us." Meanwhile Matsos said he was excited about new addition Dowd's potential. "He's going to be a fun project for me because he sees the ice very well and he's got a good shot. "I think he's going to be a real nice player for the fans to watch."
