Sheffield Steelers forward Jason Hewitt has agreed to stay with the club for another year. The Manchester-born 24-year-old scored a career best 12 goals and 22 points in the 2007-08 season. But Steelers general manager Mike O'Connor told BBC Radio Sheffield he expects Hewitt to improve next season. "He's a great kid, he brings a lot of energy to the dressing room, so we're excited to have him back and expect more from Jason next year."
