Phil Taylor has a four-point lead at the top of the Premier League table |
World number one Phil Taylor goes in search of a ninth consecutive Premier League victory when he faces Terry Jenkins in Sheffield on Thursday. Taylor, 50, requires two more wins from his five remaining matches to reach the semi-finals at Wembley on 19 May. "I'm over the moon with how I'm playing and I've been consistent over the last five or six weeks, but I won't be easing up against anyone," said Taylor. Also on Thursday, world champion Adrian Lewis takes on Raymond van Barneveld. Lewis is currently fifth in the table, a point behind fourth-placed van Barneveld. Gary Anderson, who lies four points behind Taylor in second position, faces Mark Webster, while Simon Whitlock takes on James Wade in the other two matches.
