World champion Taylor is aiming to win the Premier League for a fifth time |
Phil Taylor will be looking to avenge his Premier League semi-final defeat from 2009 against Mervyn King when the pair meet again at Wembley on 23 May. King defeated Taylor 10-6 to prevent the Stoke-on-Trent player winning his fifth consecutive Premier League title. World champion Taylor remained unbeaten throughout the group stage of the competition, winning 8-1 against local rival Adrian Lewis in Nottingham. The defeat ended Lewis' hopes of reaching the last four. Defending champion James Wade will face Simon Whitlock in the other last four tie. Both players secured their places in the play-offs on the final night of the group stages.
