Four-time winner Phil Taylor leads the Premier League table by nine points

Phil Taylor beat Mervyn King 8-1 in Aberdeen to maintain his undefeated record in the Premier League in 2010.

"Mervyn's been the player to beat this season but he was a little off his game and I took advantage," said Taylor.

But the world champion's superb performance was overshadowed by a nine-dart finish from Raymond van Barneveld in his 8-6 victory over Terry Jenkins.

"I was determined to finish well and to hit a nine-darter is incredible," said van Barneveld.

Adrian Lewis, who drew 7-7 against Australia's Simon Whitlock, needs to win his last two group matches to stand any chance of reaching the semi-finals.

The other match on the night, between James Wade and Ronnie Baxter, also finished 7-7.
