BMX
Brandon Cain on his way to a first place finish in the 11-year-old class

A team of Manx BMX riders visited the Goldcoast Club in Lytham on Sunday to compete in the sixth round of the North Regional BMX series.

On a testing track the team from the Ramsey BMX Club achieved some outstanding results with four first places and a host of podium finishes.

In the 16-29 age group Juan Watney again showed his class to win the hotly contested class.

Watney said: "It was great to win and good experience for the team."

Ryan Dean had a fantastic ride to secure second place in the fast 14-year-old boys class whilst Brandon Cain pulled out all the stops to win the 11-year-old boys final.

In the 10-year-old boys class Liam McCann had an impressive race to take third and Sophie Black claimed second in the 13-15 girls event.
