Kale Hawkins won the second round of the Manx Mountain Bike Club's National XC Championships, held at Chibbanagh Plantation on Sunday. Hawkins completed the gruelling five-lap course in a time of two hours, 12 minutes and 29 seconds. Robert Sorby came home four minutes and 12 seconds behind Hawkins, with Ronan O'Toole third. Joanne Hawkins completed a fine day for the Hawkins household by taking first place in the ladies event.
