Peter Kennaugh slings Mark Christian into the battle

The Isle of Man pairing of Peter Kennaugh and Mark Christian won the British Madison title at the Manchester Velodrome on Saturday.

The duo took victory in the 200-lap race in dramatic style from the Welsh pair of Geraint Thomas and Luke Rowe.

However, the scoreboard initially proclaimed Manx youngster Tim Kennaugh and George Atkins as the winners.

The result was overturned following a commissaire's inquiry and Kennaugh and Christian were awarded the win.
