Tactics played a large part in the victory |
Nick Mann raced to a comfortable victory in the Delancey Criterium after breaking away from the group to finish with a substantial lead. When the chasing group caught escapee Josh Gosselin on the final lap, Mann used the brief let up to launch his own counter-attack. Mann's win showed tactics play a huge part in the short fast criterium races. Gary Robert worked his way through the pack to finish second ahead of Rob Smart, Leon Ogier and Josh Gosselin. They were followed by Matt Osborn, Ben Walden, Josh Owen and Philip Touzeau. All of the other finishers were a further lap or more back on the main field.
