Australian rider Cadel Evans won the 177.7km seventh stage of the Tour of Germany on Sunday. The Davitamon Lotto rider finished ahead of Swiss star Fabian Jeker, who took second, and third place Joerg Jaksche of Germany.
American Levi Leipheimer, sixth in this year's Tour de France, retained the yellow jersey after finishing fourth.
Monday's 31.1km time trial is the penultimate stage of the nine-day Pro Tour event.
