Bennati holds on in sprint finish
cycling
Italy's Daniele Bennati out-sprinted compatriot Filippo Pozatto to snatch the third and longest stage of the Tour of Germany on Wednesday.

But Quick Step rider Bram Tankink of the Netherlands retained the yellow jersey he has held since winning the opening stage on Monday.

Germany's T-Mobile team leader Jan Ullrich lies 23 seconds behind Tankink after finishing among the main group.

Thursday's 171.6km mountain stage is regarded as the tour's key day.
