America's Levi Leipheimer won the fourth stage of the Tour of Germany on Thursday to move into the lead in the overall standings. Leipheimer, sixth in this year's Tour de France, broke Germany's Jan Ullrich on the energy-sapping climb up to the Alpine resort of Kufstein.
Leipheimer's Gerolsteiner team-mate Georg Torschnig finished just behind.
Ullrich came in 50 seconds back but said he had not given up hope of winning his home tour.
