The ladies triples of Alison Camacho, Freida Videgrain and Carole Allen gave Jersey their only success on day two of the Channel Island Indoor bowls finals.

They qualified for the British Isles Championships in March by beating Guernsey's Alison Merrien, Carol Ingrouille and Shirley Petit 18-11.

Jersey skip Camacho was thrilled, admitting: "To hold our own against that quality, I'm really pleased."

Guernsey posted seven wins to Jersey's four over the two-day tournament.
