Paternostrohailed his side's defensive display against MK Lions

Leicester Riders will face Guildford Heat in the semi-finals of the BBL Trophy after beating Milton Keynes Lions in their final group game.

Riders notched up a 79-61 win over the Lions at home on Saturday.

Head coach Rob Paternostro told BBC Radio Leicester: "I thought defensively we really set the tone.

"In the first quarter, we held them to eight points. We were able to hang on in down the stretch to win pretty comfortably."

Paternostro added: "It was a real team effort. What we did in practice this week we showed on the court."
