New Zealand-born Stankovich joined Tigers in 2007

Leicester Tigers prop Boris Stankovich will be out of action for around 12 weeks after breaking his eye socket against Bath on Saturday.

The 30-year-old forward, who has featured in seven games for the Tigers so far this season, will see a specialist next week.

Director of rugby Richard Cockerill told BBC Radio Leicester: "It was a clash of heads.

"He's likely to be out for three months - if not a little bit more."
