Colbert can also play at small forward

Plymouth Raiders have completed their squad for the forthcoming season with the signing of Lehmon Colbert.

The 22-year-old American power forward is the ninth player to be signed by Raiders new head coach Gavin Love.

Colbert joins the side from Jacksonville University in Florida, where he averaged 12 points and seven rebounds per game.

Love said: "Colbert comes very highly recommended. We spoke to his coaches and they only said positive things."

"Lehmon is the final piece of the puzzle, an athletic power forward who has a really nice mid-range game and can also be a threat from the three point line."

Raiders begin their pre-season training on Monday, with their first game at home to Worthing Thunder on 17 September.
