Plymouth Raiders have confirmed that shooting guard Jay Marriott will be returning to the club next season.

Marriot, 29, made just a handful of appearances for the side last season, but has played an important part of the Raiders' community work.

Raiders head coach Gavin Love said: "It's great to have Jay back as it gives us continuity from last year.

"It's a fresh start for Jay and it's up to him to make the most of the opportunity he's been given."

Marriot's decision to return comes just days after last season's captain, Allister Gall, decided his future lay away from Plymouth.
